Beit Shalom is a House prepared to give Peace and respite to those who stay within its walls. It is overseen by Abundant Hope International, completely dependent on the donations given. The House Host/Hostess, and all others working at Beit Shalom, are 100% Volunteer paying their own way; no one receives a salary.
When you come you will be our Guest, but you will also be part of our family. Since Beit Shalom serves breakfast only, each person is responsible for the costs of their other meals, Volunteers included. Both restaurants and food stores are available within walking distance of Beit Shalom or you may use our kitchen to prepare your other meals.

COME STAY in one of our bedrooms prepared especially for you! Enjoy your visit and taste a typical Israeli breakfast, included with overnight guest lodging. In addition, our self-serve Hospitality Center provides 24 hr coffee or tea and we do offer secure free Wi-Fi. Each room has individual heating/cooling units.
There is much to see in our area and many attractions within 30 minutes walking or by car. Transportation by bus or train is close by.

Beit Shalom is accepting donations by US cash, New Israeli Shekels ( NIS), Euros & US checks. We also accept credit cards through E-Giving on our website online either before arrival or on site.
There are several ATMs/Cash Machines available close by in the city of Akko which accept debit and credit cards. These machines dispense both US cash and shekels.

Within 10 minutes or less: Historic 5000 year-old Akko, Akko Beach, Tel Akko (next to Beit Shalom), Ghetto Fighter's Museum, Akko Mall, Park & Playground, Rail Station, Bus Station, Restaurants
Within 15 to 30 minutes: Rosh Hanikra Grottoes, Nahariya & Haifa (beaches, sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling)
Within 35 to 60 minutes: Haifa, Mt. Carmel (Druze villages, Elijah's sacrifice site), Nazareth (Biblical village, Christian sites), Tiberias, Sea of Galilee (boat rides, fishing, swimming, hiking, Yardenit), Mt. of Beatutudes and Capernaum
