Our Statement of Faith:
- The Holy Bible – We believe the entire Bible is the Inspired Word of God, holy and infallible. We believe the entire Scriptures are Revelation to mankind. We believe the scriptures reveal the person of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. (II Tim 3:15&16; I Corinthians 10:11)
- The Trinity – There is only One, True and Living God, eternally existing in three persons – the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10&11; Matthew 28:19)
- Jesus Christ, Y'shua – Jesus was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit and led a sinless life. We believe Jesus, the Messiah, died for us, taking on Him all our sin, and rose again. We believe Jesus is alive today. We believe Jesus is sitting at the right hand of His Father in heaven. (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26-38)
- Second Coming - Jesus Christ is coming again to establish His Kingdom and judge all peoples. (Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:9-11)
- Salvation – It is the free gift of God’s grace and cannot be earned by our doing good deeds or joining a church. It is given freely to those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior, accepting His shed blood as atonement of all their sin and are born again, becoming a part of God’s family through the work of the Holy Spirit. (John 3:16; Psalm 22; Isaiah 53; Hebrews 10:4-18)
- Pursue Holiness - Every Believer should be looking for the return of our Messiah, Jesus Christ. We are commanded to pursue holiness and purity in our daily walk. (Galatians 5:16-25; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 3:1&2)
- Holy Spirit – We believe the Word of God and that healing is still available through the Name of Jesus. We believe in Baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by the gifts from God. (Psalms 103:2&3; Romans 12:6; I Corinthians 14:1-5)
- Great Commandment - We are to fulfill the Great Commandment given us to love one another. (John 13:34 & 35) We are to minister to widows, orphans and those in need. We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. (Matthew 25:31-46; Isaiah 58:7-11). The Great Commandment was given before the Great Commission (Mark 16:15) and must be fulfilled. We must love completely and unconditionally first.
- To the Jew First – We do not believe the Jewish people have been set aside, therefore we reject the teaching of ‘Replacement Theology.’ We believe the Jewish people are to be honored and blessed, for through them we have been offered salvation. (Romans 11) We are commanded to bless the nation of Israel (Genesis 13:3) and to ignore that command will bring judgment on those who choose not to do so. To those who choose to bless Israel and the Jewish people, we believe the Lord will bestow on them blessings listed in His Word. (Deuteronomy 28:1-14)
- Commissioned - We believe this organization has been divinely ordained and is scripture based. (Isaiah 43:18&19; Psalms 68:5&6; James 1:27; ) We believe this work belongs totally to the Lord, is His alone, and He is our provision through those whom He calls. (Ephesians 4:1-6) We also believe alll instruction is given through Him and our decisions and actions are through prayer and with the advice and consent of the AHI Board and Advisory Board (Proverbs 15:22).
